Need strong and reliable advice on this PSU

Hello there. I'm getting a nice deal for XFX PRO XPS-550W-SEW ATX12V & EPS12V power supply. I've checked review on this PSU on JonnyGuru, but it's from 2011, it's a bit old. 

 

Would you say this PSU is nice and reliable for mid tier gaming PC?

Should be fine, think it's a Seasonic S12 or similar.

has it been in service before? If so i would recommend a new psu. But if its new age doesnt matter too much.

Is it used?  Because if it's used, then I wouldn't go for it.  6 years old is getting old for a PSU...after 5-6 years is kinda when your PSU could konk out at any time.

 

If it isn't used, then just do it! :P
