That's a good deal, post it on the rc groups classifieds if no one here wants it.

Have you checked the CG vs the COL? It looks like the wings are going to be too far back, but I'm just eyeballing it here.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I have not, but I can move the battery forward or back quite a ways depending on where the COL is.

edit: Fusion says the checker dot is where the COM is

does anyone have the RX5808 with Achilles? Kinda considering it if it's as good as a true D for half the price.

Still waiting for my frame to arrive.. Been a bit long for my taste

replaced a busted motor on my Tyrant the other day

and while in the drone workshop decided to dig in the draws and found parts to throw onto a 4" frame I had laying around.

Oh and know its only Slightly RC related but my mate and I have begun building a Bot to take part in Robot Wars UK and Battle Bots USA. So far its just design phase but having a 3D printer is fun, currently building to 1/4 scale.

Yeah I prob will if I need a motor badly, but I've learnt my lesson about running China stuff, Always keep spares!! so I keep two extra motors so just did a swap and will look at it later on..

also waiting on stock on DYS stuff so I can order my motors and ESC's

I'd still clip it off to see if you can get it spinning freely again

Also I did more digging on Achilles diversity stuff, the Eachine Pro58 module is $26, then $11 for the firmware and you get something that is supposed to be as good as a True D...

Should I jump on this; someone is selling Taranis, Teleportver V4s, a Kiss Build, Triumps, 5 4s batts, etc. All of that for $300, should I hop on it

Just placed my largest battery order ever, 6 turnigy graphene packs. I got 4 4s 1500 65c packs, and 2 5s 2200 65c packs. Thanks to the discounts, those were cheaper than the 4s 1300 65c packs everyone knows and loves.

Well aren't you special xD

My R line 75c packs didn't hold up as well as I would have hoped. They just feel like a normal lipo now.

Pretty old news, i guess they're supposed to be a good lipo, but I like the Turnigy Graphenes more. My order for those finally shipped! About time, my Dinogy and R line packs are really really tired.

Yeah, the module doesn't look great right now. I mean I've only seen Steele's and Bardwell's videos and I don't think either of them really tested the module in its intended environments or use case, but yeah not looking great. Perhaps it's all a testament to how good UBAD's recent developments are, but clearview has historically been miles ahead. My theory is they haven't nailed their algorithms for this new product and that it'll get better with software updates, but they shouldn't be shipping a half baked product.

Clearview is designed to work really well in environments with lots of multipathing and lots of interference. It also does really well with breakup, the screen never rolls and it's more chunky than static or tearing like typical FPV situations. It's designed for racing, not long range, and none of the testing I've seen has really put it in the situation it's designed for and will be used in.
