There is no Mario on PS3.

You could look into Rayman Legends (or Origins, forget which one). Fun platformer that (if I remember correctly) features local multiplayer

Mario is owned by Nintendo, thus they do not have Mario games on non-Nintendo platforms (well, there is Mario Run on iOS and Android though..). The only way to play Mario on your PC is through emulation (in easy terms, that is making your PC pretend it's a GameBoy for example), which getting the games for emulation is gray zone legality in the first place.

You could buy a second hand Wii + New. Super Mario Bros. Wii for like 40 euros together.

Nintendo only releases Mario games on their own consoles unfortunately. Same with all their first party IPs. However, emulation is always a thing if you have a PC.

Well you can run Mario on PS3, just you need your PS3 to have a CFW and a emulator. Same reason applies to running Mario on PC through emulation.
