Recommend A Recording Program

Hello everyone,

Recently I ran into a problem when trying to record Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Being that I have a GTX 1070 I use to used Shadowplay to record but with high detailed or fast moving scenes everything gets very blurry, blocky and full of artifacts and it really looks terrible.

Some evidence of my Shadowplayu problem is here:

I'm trying to find a new recording software to use, so far I have tried:

Fraps: PC performance hit too large

OBS: Even for settings that look just look Shadowplay (shite) and turning my game settings down low it still gives me encoding overload, freezes then crashes my game and the recording is really weird.

DXTORY: Low quality and wouldn't recognise games.

Action!: Yet again low quality.

My PC specs are:

GTX 1070 8GB

I7-6700k

16GB RAM

500GB SSD

4 x 1TB HDD

If anyone knows how to fix OBS, as it is the best so far, or knows any better recording programs I would really appreciate a comment!

Thank you.

I upgraded to obs studio because of a few issues with recording. Have you tried obs studio? Also if you're that dedicated to recording an external capture card is always the best option. The elgato hd60 is amazing in quality and performance, Goodluck

I have thought about an external capture card, I have an old Elgato HD but it doesn't do 60FPS which is necessary for me.

I will try out OBS Studio and see how it goes.

Thank you .

well the original can record 720p 60fps and 1080p 30fps. I'm assuming that's not suitable but it's an option. Let me know if you have any issues with studio I'm quite handy with the software.
