Please I need help choosing a mini itx z170 mobo

My damn Asus z170I pro gaming mini itx won't post and I did research and found out it's dead which has extremely pissed me off since I really needed to finish this build. Any ways I need a new board and I'm stuck between the evga z170 stinger and the GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 mini itx board.I really like the gigabyte board because of the features but there have been a few reports of them being dead on arrival.at this point I just need something that works that I can overclock on pls help me

Can't you just RMA your asus board?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Its only got two fan headers, I've got my 6700K running at 4.4ghz right now, haven't played with voltage yet.

Its got dual gigabit network ports as well as wifi, and 5.1ch analog audio outs

Would you happen to know if there are any issues with the m.2 port because I've heard of people buying expensive m.2 drives and it not working with the mobo

I'm using a sata based SSD, but it should work as the website says

Quote

PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 Connector with up to 32Gb/s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support)

Its also got a USB type C connector.

This ended up being the IDEAL board for me, and it was fairly low cost too
