Stock Cooler Or Something Else?

I want to know whether going with a small/stock air cooler or an aio liquid cooler is better. The case I will be using is the Fractal Design Core 500 and I have seen in a review by Techreport.com where they manage to squeeze an aio in there. The temps are encouraging too.
I have never worked with anything liquid cooled before, so should I stick to air cooling here or try an aio?
PS: cpu is an i7-7700 and the gpu cooler is not a blower type.
for 24/7 machines that won't be in the same room as you, reliability > performance. Go with the stock cooler.
