how soon does this have to be built?

If he can hold out for the new Pentium G4560, you'd have much more money in the budget for a GPU.

Not too soon as he has his XBO but he wants to give it a rest and I said I will take to the forums to see if i can find any extra help there.

It was just a rough estimate. You can see I put a 480 and i5 in there. And all under 700 GPB

A 1060 3gb is worse than my previously mentioned 480 8gb but it is good and in some case a 470 can outperform it
