6th Gen i7 or 7th Gen i5 | LAPTOP EDITION

pendragon is right here, the performance between a i5 and a i7 ULV is so insanely small that it isn't worth the premium. You should look at the build quality instead.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

So... i dont know much about the differences myself, but my Dell desktop claims to be an i5 and CPU-Z states it as either an 8 core, or 8 thread, I forget... but my question is, can it even have 8 cores or threads??? Everything I've read here suggests it would have to be an i7...
