Any point to buying a used SSD?

I'm looking to add an SSD to my system, something around or above the 500GB mark. 

So I see a lot of 500GB 850 Evos used for about $120, with the Crucial Mx300 525GB selling for the same price.

Is there any point to buying used for SSDs? the performance between these two drives seems to be about the same...

Just buy the MX300, you're getting a little more space, similar performance, full warranty for the same price of that used 850 evo :)
