H110i GTX - Red LED problem

Ok wtf... I literally left my PC for about 10mins on a benchmark and it now WORKS....

heh...

Maybe it was cold and tired, and warming it up helped it come back :)

I've got a H110i GTX given by a friend but for some reason the red LED doesn't seem to work at all.

At first I thought it might be a dead LED but my friend insisted that it's a Corsair Link issue or basically getting lucky with the config on the Mobo?

I've tried to install multiple versions of Link whilst uninstalling the driver in the process.

Nothing has worked thus far, and I think it might just be a dead red LED.

Any thoughts from anyone?

If the green and blue LEDs work, then yes your red LED is dead.

But some have said that it's still some 'software issue' rather than the LED being dead?

Reloading the firmware is the only thing that could possibly fix that, but I'm pretty sure corsair removed that functionality a while ago.
