Thermal throttling

Hey.I have 4790k cooled by h110i gtx.at the time of purchase of my cooler the idle temp was arround 30-32 and in load it was under 60-66 (Aida64) but now after i swapped my compound from the stock compound it gave me terrible temps like 50-55 at idle and 6% throttle at aida64.So i was thinking which compound would be better. Thank you

Might have put the cooler on wrong. I have done this before. Usually thermal paste unless it is really bad or simply gone hard difference by 3C or less. Just get some IC diamond or if you want grizzly.

You prob added too little or too much paste. If not then you mounted the cooler wrong.

Not a lot of specifics. Are you using a silver based thermal compound or silicone? How much did you use? How did you apply it? There are a lot of variables. More detail would be great. Also, make sure you hooked up the cooler properly. Why did you reapply compound?
