32inch good quality no features

Hey guys im planning to buy my father a new 32" to replace his old 28" cause its not even hd ready

so im looking for a full hd 32" and if possible not curved and features dont really matter he just want to watch some movies and just tv actually after his work so im just looking for pic and sound quality
 i was looking at tvs like Samsung UE32J5100 or LG 32LF5610 but i wasnt pleased from the reviews

Do you have any suggestions? these tvs in my country are about 220 euro and i can go a bit more so take that price point into consideration

its 39" and it wont fit the place where he has his tv also i did a fast research and cant find these brand where i live
