using the stock GPU air cooler on a Radiator? possible?

i was thinking of water cooling my GPU and i really like the look of my GPU cooler so am i able to use the cooler on a radiator?

i have space for 2 double radiators and 1 triple all of them are 120mm (i can switch the triple to a double 140mm)

Do you mean on the gpu shroud +fans over the water-block?

If yes, then it will be difficult but possible if you can ghetto rig / make something that will allow you to mount it or don't mid altering it.

Try and see is all I can say, see if you could make some kind of stand-off.. or if your lucky some double sided tape might work.

If your looking for info on modding stuff, have a look through some mod threads to see what some people do in terms of paint and such.

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

possible, yes. doable, why?

reasoning is that those fans are smaller than 120mm, have exceptional high fan speeds to make pressure, and are very loud above 50%.

all the monkeying around to get them to 'fit', invest in $8 fans to get a better and easier result.
