"Subforum/topic Filtering"

BingoFishy

I've (along with many others) have noticed a lot of off-topic posts. So I was thinking that if you posted, say, in the general discussion, and used a word like "Sennheiser," "AKG," or "audiophile" a prompt would come up asking if you wanted to move it to the headphones section. Likewise, the same thing would happen with graphics cards if you mention words like "gpu" or "Nvidia." And so on. I feel that this would eliminate a lot of the off topic posts.

The problem is, it's really hard to make and maintain a filter that is actually useful, especially as there are some topics that would fit in one place based on the title, but actually would be more appropriate somewhere else based on the content.

If you find a topic that is in the wrong place, just report it and a moderator will move it to the appropriate place.

Bigger issue than new users dumping their posts to GD, is regular users doing it.
