Witcher 3 Pack vs Trilogy Pack

JonathanH

So steam is having a sale right now on the Witcher. Should I get the Witcher 3 pack (comes with all witcher 3 dlc) or the trilogy pack? Is the first two games worth while?

the first 2 games are great. the first one is a throwback to a much older generation of gaming but I enjoyed it. Witcher 2 is fantastic, if not better than witcher 3 imo. Your best bet may be to get Witcher 3 with DLC, and then just but Witcher 2 on sale.

The first one shows its age.

The second game is really great as well, but the Witcher 3 tops it off by quite a lot.

So I'd say get the Season Pass. Hearts of Stone was a brilliant expansion, and it seems that Blood and Wine will only keep going on that direction.

Oh, and then buy Witcher 2.

the first game hasn't aged very well.

the second game is solid. note that it progresses in a very linear fashion

the third game is the best out of the three. season pass i recommend getting. you won't be disappointed by Hearts of Stone. and Blood and Wine will be even better
