What is an Active Client?

Folding at Home says that I have had 27 active clients within the last 50 days, and 20 active clients within the last 7 days.

Most others that I see on the LTT team list only have 2 or three active clients, but they are earning as many points per day as I am.

What is considered an active client?

A client is each computer you have set up to fold on your account.  You've had 27 clients complete a task in the past 50 days and 20 in the past 7.

I have nine computers that are folding.  I wonder why the client numbers are so high.

Weird, I could be wrong I guess but that's how I've always understood it.  Could just be an error on their part.

I am pretty sure each slot in the client is considered an active "client".

If i turn in a wu from a cpu and a gpu, that will show up as two active

clients. If my ip changes those might be considered 4, but i can't

confirm that at the moment.
