Landing pad?

hahayes

I recently saw linus' keycap video and they mentioned how you can make landing pads by yourself. I've decided to make myself some out of cardboard for my WASD. Why cardboard? because thats just kinky.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)    I was wondering if this was actually safe though, I have a keyboard that has lights in them, can the cardboard catch on fire or something?

That's not how those LEDs work, there won't be any heat at all (atleast not enough for for a human to feel it) so definitely not.

LEDs run cold. They wont catch.

thats not true... LED do product heat `-`

just very less, less than those old lightbulbs that uses filaments

one of these LED require a heatsink as big as cpu's heatsink sometimes

Spoiler

as for OP, the odds of it catching fire is astronomically small

as those LED cant produce enough heat to start a fire

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I know, I was referring to the LEDs on keyboards that use like a thousandth of a watt per bulb.
