Go to solution Solved by Guest Gazzer96,

All I can think of is 1. System files may well be currupted and you will have to send the system to a time in the past or 2. you have a virus and you need to get malwarebytes and super anti-spyware on safe mode with internet acess.

I can't open any site or folder on my pc.

in any webbrowser (for site) & file explorer or total commander (folders)

the only websites that open are the pages that op on startup of the browser but i stal can't go to another page on that website.

EX. homepage is linustechtips.com when i click on a threat the browser screen goes white for a bit (like normal loading a page) then i just goes back to the startpage.

this happens in Chrome, Firefox, IE(jes I even tried IE),

with opening folders it the same i click on a folder it doesn't open i just stay's on the same 'page'.

wen clicking on a drive i shows the folders on that drive for a fraction of a second.

same in configuration panel.

extra info:

no problems with ping to google.com

i can play online games (tried tf2)

anybody an idea whats wrong here?

anybody a fix

thanks in advance.

Avast is pretty much the best free AV software there is. PC & Tech Authority tested it (Australian tech magazine).

The other anti viruses are much better; My Kaspersky PURE, which is ranked one of the best, catches very few. With the malwarebytes and super anti-spyware combinded with first use they found over 400 viruses. No Joke.

And no, they will not intrude with each other as they are sort of like extensions for a firewall.

Did the job in their tests, they tested roughly the same programs too

from watching tech programs like click on the BBC, it showed that it could not detect 'Man in the Browser'.
