SSD blue screening

Ryan-Simpson
Go to solution Solved by sof006,

I had this issue on my old laptop where if I install an SSD into it. All it would do is blue screen. Not sure if its the same issue but it could be. Try updating your laptops BIOS, make sure its off your manufacturers website. Or update the firmware on the SSD.

I upgraded my laptop HDD to A 240GB Kingston Hyper X 5k SSD (the blue one) But I knottiest that every now and then it will blue screen it was a fresh install of windows upon the upgrade and the SSD work fine on my desk top ware it was for about a year and a half till i upgraded the desktop to a 500GB Samsung 840 for more space.  It happens about every 45 minuets on the SSD but not on the HDD they both have fresh install of windows 7 ultimate

Can anyone help please.

My laptop

intel i7 3630QM

GTX 660M

8GB kingston hyperx 1600mhz

240GB Kingston hyperx SSD (boot drive)

1TB WD Scorpio Blue (storage drive)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
