Here is that video i meant;

Oh boy... Ok, I'm not going to get into every detail as it would just take too long to type it all out and would require me to re-iterate a lot of what I've already explained in my previous posts. Instead I'm just going to summarize on the key points...

First; in your previous post, I noticed you said he tested with a 7850. It was actually 7870. Not a huge difference, but the 7870 (which is an R9 270) is a fairly stout mid-range card.

Next; I noticed you only mentioned him testing at 1440p. Well he didn't only test at 1440p. He also tested in 720p and 1080p as well. And by testing at lower resolutions, as we know, is a method of showing a CPUs potential overhead/capability. It's interesting then, that in the majority of the games he tested, the 8350 showed the most "overhead" - even while streaming. Why did you ignore the rest of his testing/results? I found no fault in his methods. On the surface, it appears as though you simply cherry picked to suit your argument, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

That's all I have to say, really. I don't take what Logan says as gospel and the video is now almost a year old, so you have to keep that in mind as well. But it does show the 8350 is a very capable CPU - capable of out performing i5's and i7's in *some* scenarios. That's all. Nobody is saying it's the best in the world or anything like that, but it's certainly not junk like some people make it out to be.

Perhaps you and I will have to just agree to disagree on some things and move on. ;)
