Need a new monitor

Can someone recommend a good monitor for mostly PC gaming and a bit of console gaming?

 

I'm looking for one with:

1080p or higher resolution

16:9 aspect ratio

At least 2 HDMI In ports and DisplayPort or DVI

Headphone passthrough

 

I prefer colour accuracy over refresh rate, so would rather go for IPS over TN, but will choose TN if I have to.

The display MUST be matte, as I will be using it in a fairly bright room. My current display is glossy and the glare is awful.

I will be using external headphones, so don't care about speaker quality.

 

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

so for 1080p u would recommend a 22 or 23 inch monitor

1440p i would go with 27 inch

 

where do you live so i can choose a store based on ur location

It can range you from a lot of different prices. is 60hz what you want?

I'm after colour depth over refresh rate; so long as it is at least 60Hz I don't mind. 27 inch or larger in terms of size and I don't really have a target price.
