Which Motherboard should i buy in connection with an i7-4790K Processor?

Hello,

i want to build my own PC and i am going to buy the i7-4790K Processor.

I maybe want to overclock at some point later and i am asking myself what mainboard i have to buy which is powerful and fits to the i7-4790K Processor.

I already heard that i have to buy an Z-97 Mainboard. Is thar right?

Any suggestions? What mainboard can you recommend?

you also want to think about what you want out of the mother board not just overclocking like cross fire or sli even how many ram slots you want.
