During a debate at the University of Westminster last night Theo Bertram, UK policy manager at Google stated “Blocking websites, I don’t think is as effective as going after them as a business,”.

 

I do agree with him. With the way the industry is going is towards free music with things such as Spotify and Pandora becoming ever more popular, ad revenue could soon become the biggest form of income for the music industry.
