MSI B85I and the Pentium G3258

Go to solution Solved by AMICLG,

Hi.

So I'm planning to build a small form factor PC with the Intel Pentium G3258 and overclock it and I've heard news that some B85 boards can overclock the Pentium. I'm wondering whether the MSI B85I can. If it can't, what would be a good B85/H87/H97 Mini-ITX board for me? Thanks.

Well it has MSI's OC Genie so I'm assuming it can overclock it. :)

I've seen some other non-Z series boards from prevoius generations with OC utilities. One was a Gigabte P55 board I think.

But not the B85I. That's a different motherboard. They haven't tested that.
