My favorite thing about the G550JK, is the dual cooling intakes that include dual cooling fans. This is my favorite thing about it because you mentioned it is nearly silent at ideal and reasonably quiet under load. Most importantly a good cooling solution will stop thermal throttling, for as you mentioned even when overclocked the system was running consistently.

I like the brushed aluminium finish on the back. Hate finger prints on good looking notebooks.

My favorite thing about the laptop is either the well color balanced screen, stock 8 GB of RAM or the all-round aluminum construction. Love a tough laptop that can climb a mountain and still play games comparably to my desktop gaming rig.

My favourite things about this laptop are the looks, screen and the speaker system; I also find the extensive amount of ports could be very useful for someone like me.
