Hello...need advice on a future build.

Greetings fellow Computer Nerds,

I need a little advice on a Gaming/Editing build I will be doing in the next few months. I want to make sure this rig can do everything I need it to without any issues. Here is what I have in mind.

Intel Core i5 4670k (watercooled with CM seidon 120v and OC'ed 5-10%)

ASRock Fatality Killer Z87 ATX Motherboard

MSI GTX 770 2gb GPU (might OC 10% but haven't decided)

G.Skill Aegis 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM

120GB SSD

3TB HDD

AVerMedia Live Gamer HD video capture card

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Editing Software: Sony Movie Studio 13 Suite

Total Build Price: $1,800

Thoughts?

Gaming/Editing PC: AMD FX-8350 | CM Seidon 120V Liquid Cooler | Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard | G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600| Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB WINDFORCE | PNY XLR8 240GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD | Corsair 600W ATX Semi-Modular PSU | Thermaltake Chaser A71 | LG 25UM64-S 25.0" 2560 x 1080 Display | CM Storm Devastator Gaming Keyboard & Mouse

Thanks...Wanted to go with a Thermaltake Core V71 but decided it was too expensive. May use that in a future build though.

Thought about that, but the SSD will be mainly used as a boot drive for the OS.

I looked into it, and the only way I can get a 240GB SSD without going over budget is to change the case. What are your thoughts on the Corsair Carbide SPEC-03?

I suggest you should wait for the z97 boards and Haswell Refresh CPUs to reach the market.

Yo mama so fat, she doesn't even fit in a 900d.

Okay. Yeah, I'd hate to give up that case. I guess I'll stick with the 120GB for now.

Okay. This is what I've settled on for now though the build probably won't happen until August when I expect a settlement check to come in. By then, the Z97's and the refreshed Haswell CPUs will be in so those might change. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll always welcome your input.
