300-500 budget build

Lays

Need to build a system for my mom, her pre-built from costco that's like... 8 years ago is starting to give out and needs an upgrade.

What she does most:

Tons of facebook games+ and she usually has atleast 10 browser tabs open at once. (Sometimes more)

Lots of sims 3, but when/if sims 4 is released, she'll want to play that too.

I was thinking something like 8gb of ram, fractal core 1000 and an AMD apu of some type, but if a cheap GPU like.. an amd 260/270 or something can be squeezed in, then that'd be good too. I've already got a 1tb seagate barracuda in her PC, so that can easily be re-used.

This build will be put in one of those "desk compartments" where there's room for a tower, and probably forgot about for months on end.

@TheSLSAMG if you still wanted to help me posterino here pls.

Assume you'll need an OS but not peripherals since you'll reuse the old ones?

Won't need an os, got copies of win 7/ win 8 if needed plus I can re-use that old HDD.

7700K & 8 GB of 2400? Also, an R9-250 would be good for hybrid if needed.

(linus, when you did the 7850K with the 250, you wasted 128 SP, as the 512 on the 7850K had to scale down to 384 to match the 250, where as the 7700K is already at 384 SP, so no wasting, and a much better value)

If she is playing the sims 3, check this out:

http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements

If she has all the EP and SP you will need somehting like a 7770 to run it.

You could get an athlon and a 7770.
