RX 5600XT or RTX 2060

Since they’re both price similarly at Microcenter, which one should I pick out?

Im gaming on a R5 2600X at 1080p 75fps.

My monitor is also freesync but 2060 also has ray tracing.

Both cards perform identically on average across different games. Ray tracing is not really a thing for a 2060 unless you like how 30fps looks, so it's not a feature that is worth talking about.

 

Get whichever is cheaper if you absolutely need something now, but the best option is to wait for the full Ampere and RDNA2 launch and see how everything shakes out.

Not very useful ray tracing.  The advantage of the 2060 is in non gaming stuff.  It has hardware streaming and studio drivers.  There’s also those “tesla core apps” like that noise cancelation thing that Nvidia has been adding.  In pure gaming fps the 5600xt is going to beat it by a bit.
