Ryzen 5 2600x getting below average in Cinebench r20

Today I ran Cinebench r20 on my Ryzen 5 2600x non oc’ed and it scores 2843. But online it shows it scores around 3150. What sure I do? I am running on the stock cooler but my temps are good for the test. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say it's within acceptable range

People test their system with a clean install, minimum background tasks

There could also be other minor differences like ram speed

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I have disabled all background apps and recently did a clean install of windows. I have 3000mhz ram. Thanks for the response

Not just that could be thermal limit or just a bad sample.

I have done it many times and get the same number. Thanks for the response

i guess the important factor is if you are happy with the performance you are getting. if so, don't worry about it. if you aren't, i would consider the ram first.

Thanks for the response. I am upgrading to 16gb soon. Do you think I would see better scores then?

most likely, but you would see a better increase if you get a faster ram kit as well as 16gb.
