andoid/ios tracking

Hi,

I heard that IOS 14 will be able to stop apps from tracking them, and seeing the other apps installed in your phone.

Is this true?

Is andoid vunerable to this?

Replace the fear of the unknown with curiosity!

It's true if Apple is to be trusted https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2020/06/24/ios-14-macos-big-sur-safari-to-give-us-no-thanks-option-for-ad-tracking/

As far as I can tell this is just their equivalent of this https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662856?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en

So... nothing new. Be aware that in both cases this only prevents advertisers from using your unified Google or Apple ad profile, it doesn't prevent apps from independently tracking you if they can deanonimize your information.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
