500DX Fan Layout

Hey guys,

I just bought the 500DX and wanted to ask if it’s more than enough just running on the stock fans, or if should replace them with some PWM fans and if I should make use of the other two free 140mm spaces.

from this review it sounds like you’ll probably be fine, but what you want to do is check your thermals.  If they’re fine you’re fine.  If they’re not fine making sure things are correctly set up comes before does the case have enough airflow because more airflow might not help

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Stock fan setup is the best setup without removing the front panel or filter, according to GamersNexus
