Depends on what games. It's probably usable still, but don't expect great performance

Not in AAA games, but some games like counter strike with a decent GPU must be playable. Example: I played with an i3 third gen paired with an Nvidia 1030GT and I could easily play Fortnite at solid 90 fps on medium and low graphics.

i7 10700k @ 5.05 Ghz

Corsair H100i pro XT 240mm

MSI z490 tomahawk

16 Gb (2 x 8 GB) Patriot Viper Steel - 4000mhz - 16-16-16-34

MSI 1070TI titanium

A friend of mine has one with an RX480 and it still works pretty well.

Depending on what motherboard and cooler you have you can actually get a bit more performance out of it. It doesn't support overclocking but you can set single and all core boost to a higher number than default by maxing out the multiplier. I think his 2400 went from 3.1GHz to 3.6GHz without a difference in temps but a 10% score increase in Cinebench.

Well, I have an I5-2500, and It's paired with 8GB of DDR3-1333MHz RAM and a GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5.

It's pretty close to the 2400, and the performance in CSGO was good before a year ago and I was getting over 200 FPS all the times, but the Updates have managed to tank my FPS to ~144. Which is noticeable with occasional stutters, and noticeable ones because I play at 144Hz.

To sum it up - It's good, but not great.
