GPU not responding to any games

Go to solution Solved by zeusthemoose,

Make sure that the all the game files are there using the validate files feature in most game store/launchers. I had issues with just csgo launching a little bit ago that this fixed. It might not work but worth a shot.

I have an ASUS rog strix scar 2 laptop i7-8750H and a GTX 1070.

I changed the thermal paste of my laptop recently but now as soon as I launch any game gpu doesnt respond to it and stays idle.

I opened it up again and I couldnt see any missing screw.
I have reinstalled the drivers, its not working.
Any suggestions

Have you tried disabling your integrated graphics? This forces everything to run on the dedicated gpu. Could be a switching issue.
