[URGENT] Gpu Keeps disconnecting

Whenever I restart my PC the GPU disconnects completely even though it is plugged in by the Power Wires and PCIE. It's a gtx970 DirectCU II.

The only way to fix it is to unscrew and unplug it. Then reboot.

Then when I connect to my HDMI to it, after about 20 seconds it freezes the computer and shows a blank white screen.

Help!

Assuming your board has another PCIe slot, move it down one and see what happens.

No luck. Although it stays on the device manager, It has no signal. Also, I dont think the gpu's broken since if I boot it up with the hdmi in the gpu, it works unitl you get to the sign in page, from which it goes black and loses signal.
