I did a rough power calculation and the 600w should be fine but make sure you have the right connectors image.png.21133889a567c30fd9dafab69560b0f4.png

CPU: i7 6700

GPU: GTX 1060 6GB

RAM: 16GB DDR4 2133 MHZ

Storage: 2TB Crucial SATA SSD + 2TB WD BLUE

No that is not correct

A 500w or a 550 should be WAYY more than enough

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

I agree that a 500w would be fine but a 650w allows for upgrade ability and overclocking on CPU and GPU, extra storage, more fans ect...

A 500w should be enough for even a 3700x and a 2070 super

A 3700x and 2070 SUPER on their own with no OC is 365W and OC could push that to 400W and then you have all of the rest of the components.

Just saying that I like to play it safe in terms of power supplys and buy a bit more than you need. You future self will thank you and having that extra headroom is useful

Future proofing is not Necessarily wise since you end up making a system that is so "future proof" you won't have any budget for a specific part or two that could enhance the experience

If you worry about future proofing so much you will end up building a jank of a pc

I don't recommend future proofing

Care about your current rig not what it will look like in a few years or so

Fair enough. Just different ways of doing it I guess
