High Temps for 3900X with Stock Cooler

I am getting high temps at idle around 50-60c. I am running everything on Stock and using AMD Wraith Prism Cooler.

Can someone help me with what settings I should go with to get optimal performance and lower temps. Also any AIO suggestion

My Build -

AMD 3900x

Gigabyte Aorus x570 Elite

16x1 3600mhz {will increase as rightnow not in stock because of COVID}

Gigabyte Aorus P750W

RTX 2070 Super

NZXT H510 Elite Case

Main Focus of my build is Premiere Pro and After Effects and some casual AAA gaming.

HOLD UP. YOU ARE RUNNING 3900X ON A WRAITH COOLER NOT WRAITH PRISM COOLER?!

Idle temps are somewhat irrelevant. What are your load temps? The 3900x is a powerful CPU, and it boggles my mind that people slap a stock cooler on a $700 CPU. I'd recommend a 360mm AIO or a DRP4/Any Noctua Cooler.

cooling a 12 core chip is a bit of an ask my dude. the load temperatures are what really matters though

if you wanna cut temps down, cut voltage down. PBO sets the voltage quite high by default and you should at least be able to take 50mV off that with no issues which will see you a reduction in temps

in terms of AIO's, eh, unless you're going high end 240/280 or 360 i'd say to just get a nice big air cooler. but if you're dead set on an AIO then a Fractal Celsius S36 or a trusty H100x will be fine

What would you suggest as good air cooler

Why the hell are you using a stock cooler on a 12 core beast of course it will yeet into high temps. If you want to have lower idle temps, again, go for these fans mentioned by @yaboistar. The DRP4 or the NH-D15 are very powerful air coolers meant for CPUs like the Ryzen 9 and Intel i9 series. Consider getting those as they are reliable and have long warranties.

For AIO, it is suggested you get a 280mm AIO like a Corsair H115i or a NZXT X62 or a 360mm one like a Corsair H150i or ASUS Ryujin AIO. With your components, you should invest in temperature management more to keep your CPU as efficient as possible
