Hello. I bought a new rig like you when I had my Index.

I went for a 3800X + 2070S. It works great. (everything else in my rig is pretty much the same as what you picked.)

I don't know what is better between 3600 + 2080S and 3800X + 2070S for VR. What I can tell is that it is perfect with 3800x + 2070S for me.

I'd invest a bit more on a 3600x since budget allows.

If you can get a used 2080 ti instead, you should be spending about the same as a new 2080 super but you should be getting a lot more performance.
