Can my system support 240hertz?

U5eemerollin001

So I just finished my first PC yesterday and it posted and everything but I am yet to get a monitor. I connected my rig to my tv and it is still connected. I want to get a 240hertz monitor but don’t know if my system can support it. I am hoping to get the ASUS ROG Strix XG-8Q. If anyone can get back to me about this that would be great. Thank you.

My full specs are

Intel Core i5-9400 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor

Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Asus TUF Z390M-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Asus Radeon RX 580 8 GB ROG STRIX Video Card

Corsair Carbide Series 88R MicroATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply]

In like... CS:GO, you could push 240fps or higher easily. In anything more intensive you'd want a high clocked 9600K or higher, and a better GPU. Depending on how core/graphics hungry your games are.

Will your GPU support running a 240Hz monitor? Yes

Will most of your games run at 240 FPS? Most likely no.
