Windows keeps reducing my frame rate....

I have an AOC 144Hz monitor and I set it up in windows for such frequency.

 

But occasionally I notice the frame rate going down and when I go check, Windows has set it back to 60Hz.

 

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? Drivers or Windows updates?

Have you tried configuring it using other software like the nvidia control panel or whatever counterpart AMD has?

It's Nvidia. I didn't, but change it now through there. I'll keep checking if it lasts, thank you.
