Two faulty USB drives

Me and my cousin both have a Sandisk extreme pro USB 3.0 Drives (the old version with 270R 245 W, not the current 420R 380W model), and they both don't function properly.

My drives gets detected in the computer, but file explorer will ask me to insert a drive into (drive letter), trying to view the drive in computer management would cause the window to freeze until I remove the drive. Trying to format the drive in diskapart causes cmd to hang on when I enter create partition primary.

 

My cousin's drive doesn't even turn on when plugged in, and I could hear something rolling around inside if I shake it, I am guess a broken pin?

Specs: Motherboard: Asus X470-PLUS TUF gaming (Yes I know it's poor but I wasn't informed) RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX DDR4 3200Mhz CL16-18-18-36 2x8GB

            CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X          Case: Antec P8     PSU: Corsair RM850x                        Cooler: Antec K240 with two Noctura Industrial PPC 3000 PWM

            Drives: Samsung 970 EVO plus 250GB, Micron 1100 2TB, Seagate ST4000DM000/1F2168 GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 ti Black edition

If you have warranty, claim it.

Considering it's a last gen USB stick I think it has expired already.
