I have been using Trixbox (old but free) on a vm and recently I had been watching it send "DOS" attacks to ips from France and US (But been blocked by IPS). The only ports I have open are the one for sip and RTP. Has it been hacked in some way?

Do you think you could send malware through sip and rtp ports without making any outgoing calls?
