Turning on 2 PSU at once?

Chiyawa

I'm doing a project, and so I have a desktop computer and additional ATX PSU from my project. And to switch on the ATX PSU for my project, I often has to short a certain pin (the Pin No. 16 green cable with the ground Pin No. 17 black cable).

Then, I spotted some crazy stuff from Thermal Take. Apparently, it can switch on both power supply using a single motherboard. If what the description say is true, this means I can just turn on my PC and both my PC PSU and my external PSU can be turn on simultaneously.

Though the question is, is it reliable? Has anyone try that before? I'm using different PSU config. My desktop is using 750W and my external PSU is 400W.

I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). More info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autism_spectrum

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

I searched up "dual psu cable" on youtube and there seems to be a lot of videos on the topic so try those. Good luck with the build!
