Offload footage without PC while traveling

I would like to hear about your experience with backing up\offloading footage to external storage without a laptop while traveling.

Which hardware did you use and did you regret not bringing the laptop after all?

 

M.2 form factor is very convenient for the traveler, get proper enclosure and you've got yourself a flash stick on steroids.

from a camera? I just keep a bunch of mirco-sds. I got a bunch of 64GB-256GB micro-sd cards and a case for them.

You could just buy a small tablet with a usb connector or two and an external enclosure

You can leave the keyboard home and just use touch and onscreen keyboard.

Insert card into the built in card reader, connect external usb drive, transfer the files to drive.
