Migrating windows 10 to existing ssd.

SmileyJam

I have had a 1 TB hard disk in my PC since I built it and also had a smaller SSD since the same time. When I built the machine however i was young and stupid so just installed to the hard disk. My question is: what is the easiest way to move my operating system to the SSD and also if it means a complete uninstall/reinstall how do I do this.

Personally, I do fresh installs. This gives you a clean slate and doesn't junk it up right away with unnecessary stuff. If you plan on keeping your HDD for your files and such, dont forget to map your "My Documents, Pictures, VIdeos" ETC. to your HDD instead of on your SSD to save space.

Easiest way is to use Macrium Reflect what was described on this forum lot of times.
