Need help choosing a new graphics card

I'm currently wanting to purchase a new graphics card. I will be using it to play games at 1440p and would like to achieve closest to 144fps as possible. I am in Australia so prices are definitely higher than US.

I have narrowed down to a few options but honestly can not decide which is best graphics card for me for its value.

For simplicity sake everything will be in USD.

 

Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 2060 Super - $512

EVGA XC Ultra/Ultra Gaming RTX 2070 - $516/$531

Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 2070 - $547

EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming RTX 2070 -$553

Gigabte Windforce OC RTX 2070 Super - $594

 

I am currently mainly looking at Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 2070 and the EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming RTX 2070 but am open to new options. If anyone can tell me which is better between the two, pros and cons of each, it would be very helpful.

First thing is do I even consider a RTX 2060 Super when a RTX 2070 is only $4 more? Also do I consider a RTX 2070 Super when its $47 more than the Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 2070?

Apex Lengends. Monster Hunter Online. Sid Meiers Civilisation. Looking forward to CyberPunk. I do play some triple A fps games quite often.

Out of those games ive only played apex legends so i dont really know how easy or hard the other games are to run. If they are close to apex then a 2070 should do you at 1440p 144hz, but if your going for an expensive 2070 you might as well spring for the super.

The 5700XT is also a good option, I checked Amazon.com.au and it's $466 USD ($692 AUD) with performance either slightly below a 2070 or between a 2070/2070 Super in most games.

General rule of thumb is get a good cpu and an SSD and then pump your budget into your graphics card. 
Would probably go for the 2070 super if you have the money. 

Definitely ignore the 2060 since that won't push 144fps at 1440p. 

Realistically, if you're going for 144fps, the 2070 super is your best bet. I somehow doubt you'll get 144fps in all titles at max settings but dropping AA a notch or two can make a big difference.

I agree with the 5700xt but isnt it much more expensive in Australia? By googleling the 5700xt price in Australia, apparently it 629 aud (again dont know how true that is) but if thats the case then i would go for the 2070.

I'd get either the 2070 Gaming OC or the evga ftw3, simply because they both have triple fan designs and will keep your card cooler. I don't think the windforce is worth the extra $50.

 

Since Apex is a competitive game I would think it would be fairly easy to run. No clue about monster hunter, and Civ can be run on most modern integrated graphics.

I was looking at the 5700XT as it only costs $470 but I really hate the blower style fan and thermals are important to me. I've used a MSI Aero GTX 1080 before and as a blower style fan it would hit 94 degrees celsius relatively easy even in PUBG. I would definitely consider it it there were aftermarket dual or triple fan builds but sadly I can't find any.

Using Ryzen 3600, Samsung 970 Pro SSD, ASUS ROG Strix-F X470 mobo, 16GB HyperX Predator Ram at 3200Mhz. EVGA Supernova G3 750W.

Is windforce not a good series or something? I was just mainly thinking about the $50 increase from a high end 2070 to a low end 2070 super but still a 2070 super regardless. Can a higher end 2070 can come close to a low end 2070 super in terms of performance ?

My fault, I didn't realize that the windforce card was a SUPER edition (stupid naming schemes  ). 

 

The windforce card is probably the better buy here.

I would go with one of the Supers. None of the games you listed has ray tracing, so if you really wanted to you could go with a regular 2070 and still get great performance. But from what you listed, a Super isn't much more expensive so you may as well go with that.

Really its down to budget how much do you want to spend.  there is small incremental step ups from the 2060 super to the 2080 TI.  They are all a few percentage points better than the next one down on the list but none of them are a huge leap ahead of each other.  IMO just decide how much you can live with spending and go for that getting whichever card you like the looks and price of the most.  I just put the 2060 non super in an ITX build and I like  it.
