Laptop for Uni but I have a PC

I want a laptop which is under 1000$. Preferably is light, has a great screen and keyboard.
I'll be studying computer systems engineering.

Something with decent battery life. I don't really think that it needs to be super powerful as I will be taking my tower with me (7600K, 32GB 3200mhz ram, GTX 1070, 1tb m.2, 250gb 2.5" SSD, 1tb HDD)

I'm planning on using it for taking notes in class, watching youtube/Netflix and doing homework.

I'm from Cyprus but I will be studying in the UK. I don't really have a max weight in my mind but I'd like something that I can carry around every day. Battery should last at least 3-4 hours. I don't mind if the RAM is upgradable or not. Screen size > 13" and 1080P at least

So which country are you going to buy from? Prefer gaming/performance laptop or regular laptop/Ultrabook?

I will be buying from UK and as I've said I have a powerful gaming PC that I will bring with me. I just want something I can carry around and do homework and etc (not gaming).

Would prefer business grade laptops (let me know if you don't like them - would recommend some good consumer grade models)

Take a look at Thinkpad T/X/L series, Elitebook 700/800 series and Latitude 7000 series
