Installing MAC OS in Windows 10

Hi,

While looking into apple website for mojave os they have mentioned it is free to download. My perception is that whether i can download "Mojave" as image file and installing it in windows 10 through VM is it possible. Since the OS price is free of cost mentioned in Apple website but it is only possible to download and update through apple devices only. If i can download it other than apple devices tell me the way to download Mojave.

Thanks

Dupi

Few things...

1) macOS is only free if you own a Mac otherwise you're running it out of license.

2) The download comes as a Mac disk image (DMG) which Windows cannot use. There is software which can read the contents in Windows but that doesn't mean Windows can use the file.

3) It's technically possible to run macOS on VMWare however it's incredibly involved, requires multiple patches to workaround issues and even then it's not really useful as VMWare tools doesn't install correctly so you have no hardware video support.

Easy... Search google for "Mojave (Intel / AMD) Virtualbox".

You'll endup in some forum or torrent site hosting the VM Images.

Load up the VM image in your Virtualbox, just follow the guideline, it should be pretty simple.

Do not expect much from virtualizing Mac OS. It's possbily. I've done it before but performance is terrible.

Discussion about piracy is OK but telling people how to pirate is not. Read the CS's.

Did Linus tell people to go search "certain" websites to find an image in that video?

I wouldn't call it going overboard.  I'd consider it common sense.  I'm not sure if you are in to Retro gaming, but you can discuss emulation all you want, including links to the emulators.  As soon as you start posting links to roms, the sites get shutdown.  Both the forums and the unrelated sites hosting the roms.
