XPS 15 9560, jet engine or laptop?

hey everyone,

I have had a xps 15 9560 for nearly a year now and the fans even on idle are going full tilt.

I have tried to solve this by tweaking the fan curve, etc

I noticed the fans are quieter when playing minecraft, I dont understand this.

I have been rather annoyed by it lately cos it wont stop.

The only thing I can think of rn is doing a BIOS update.
