Hi,
i'm surprised by your demand... 100 fps at 1080p :)
you see that more and more
personally i would say you need more then a 1060 for a peacefull experience
and to give an indication. I have a 1060 3gb and on the latest total war game i just barely reach 105 fps with all settings on low and turned off
now is total war quite consuming but i expect this to be a very frequent experience for the newer games that will be arriving in the years to come
some experts will be checking your build probably within hours so gl with them ;) and your new pc ofcourse

Better wait a bit and get ryzen 3rd gen with x570

but x570 might be too expensive so you have to have patience in getting those B series.

i cant say much for gfx i mean for new gfx and 100fps i dont think so.

That psu is bad though. A Corsair TXM/RMx or Bitfenix Formula/Whisper would be better option.

I saw some people change my ram ? where they bad ? what was the tought behind it ?

Do u guys know any good case for easy cable management and good air flow since it's my first pc ?

Thanks again for the help,

The Focus series has actually been having issues with hungry GPUs as of late. BitFenix Gold or RMx is the way to go these days.

Perhaps @LukeSavenije could offer further insight on the Focus Plus issues? (I believe I recall units having shut down operation when GPUs were reaching boost clocks, but I don't want to spread false info.)

The PSU does a number of things, namely powering the PC components.

The PSU also provides protective measures for power surges / harmful currents. Getting a good unit is very important.

A poor PSU can literally light fires in your pc components.

As for RAM, with Ryzen it is important to have Dual Channel RAM (2 matching sticks) at 3000-3200mhz. This is also beneficial for Intel, but less crucial. Other than that... Really it just comes down to heat spreader quality.

As others have stated, Ryzen 3rd Gen will likely be the best bet at the budget.

This build has a 2700 and a B450 Tomahawk, which price wise should reflect what a Ryzen 5 3600 and a B550 board might look like pricing wise at launch on 07/07.

Your RAM was fine. We were just trying to stretch your dollar and save money where we could. That Corsair 275R is nice budget case. Of course, you can always spend more.

Prices are in the Ryzen thread in Tech News section, by Origami I think.

There should be a price drop but not huge sale, as prices have been falling for months.

Here it is build out with substitutions where needed. I would say it is worth 1050-1200 Canadian dollars.

The 2070 is approximately equal in performance. The 1080's are now scarce and the prices are inflated if you can find one.
