Does this monitor work with gtx 900 series?

Is g sync supported for gtx 970? (900 series)

 

It says it's compatible, but it doesn't work with 900 series. 

 

Monitor:  VG248QG

I don't see why it wouldn't work?

 Because G sync compatible only was unlocked for 1000 series and above @cHaTrAp
